Spring is undoubtedly one of my favorite times of the year, allergies and other ailments not withstanding! This Spring has been a blessed one for our team and ministry. In April, we were in Tinley Park, Illinois and Heath, Ohio (in our home church). Last week, we were in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. All three were really good meetings.
Pastor Tim Spitsbergen has pastored the Calvary Baptist Church in Tinley Park for over two years now. He is a young pastor who evidences a genuine burden for souls and real love for revival. Our team was privileged to spend an entire week with the church. We worked to see souls saved and to see genuine revival among the church family. Pastor Tim prepared well and God allowed us to sow many, many seeds!
It is always a blessing for us to be with our home church family in Heath, Ohio. Pastor Dennis and the church prepared well for the revival and the crowds each service was certainly a good indication. Souls were saved in almost every service and we know of at least 18 that trusted Christ throughout the eight day crusade. Pastor and the church family are seeing much growth. They are almost always at full capacity and yet continue to grow. We were very happy to take part in helping the church to win souls and strengthen believers.
Our meeting last week was at Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Pastor Steve Proctor is a wonderful pastor who did a superb job of preparing his church family for the campaign. The building was packed every service and over 20 souls were saved. Pastor Proctor proved that when we put much effort into preparing for a campaign; souls will be saved, and believers will be stirred to revival, holiness, and evangelism! We love the folks at Westwood and were blessed to be part of the church for the five days we were there. They continue to grow and to win souls and to disciple believers. May their kind increase in our movement!!!!!
